I am a self-professed foodie — the kitchen is probably my favorite place to be (next to the beach)! When I’m not working, you will likely find me wandering through the grocery store reading labels and checking out new products, in the kitchen experimenting with recipes, or reading something related to fitness and nutrition. I enjoy digging in my garden; experimenting with fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers. Some of my favorite things include good wine, CHOCOLATE, music, curling up with a book or movie, and spending time with family and friends.  And did I mention, CHOCOLATE?!

After spending most of my life learning how to manage a lifelong struggle with food and body image that were deep seeded in my childhood, in 2012 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.  This had a large impact on my health.  It turned my life upside down and caused me to rethink everything I thought I knew about living a healthy life.  I had to research, educate myself, and equip myself with new tools that would allow me to heal and manage my health without sacrificing a life the life I had finally come to love.  Today, I approach health and wellness as a journey – not a destination – and I love to help my clients do the same. When you embrace this mindset, you will let go of the stress and the guilt, embrace the process, live in the moment, and focus on moving forward.  It’s about progress, not perfection!
